This lovely abstract painting by Philadelphia artist Eve Reilly is bursting with vivid colors and textures. It’s titled “Beauty by the Tracks” on verso, and dated the Summer of 1945. One can only imagine that the optimism in this painting must have been inspired by the surrender of Germany which had recently taken place.
