Effie Levin Gereny is a longtime and well collected Maryland artist and longtime resident of Baltimore. Her works are heavily influenced by her studies withe renowned mid-century artist Gladys Goldstein, and well as her time living and studying abroad in Japan. Studying at Maryland Instiute College of Art and Notre Dame, her works are in the collections of the Massachusetts Mutual Imsurance Company, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyerhoff, and The Columbia Art Group of Maryland. She’s exhibited at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, IFA Gallery in Washington, Morris Mechanic Theater, Loyola College, College of Notre Dame, and two solo shows in Kawasaki, Japan.
