A beautiful horseshoe stick pin from the Victorian era, crafted in 10K yellow gold with a subtle rosy undertone. Regarded as a symbol of luck and protection as far back as the eighth century, this horseshoe has a total of seven gemstones, each representing one of the seven nails traditionally found on the face of a shoe, a number considered to be lucky in many cultures. Studded with a fiery old cut diamond and six round sapphire simulants (paste) set in a square gypsy flush setting. Measuring a sizable 2 ¾ inches, this unique adornment would look remarkable pinned to a favorite garment, and is perfect for any equestrian jewelry collector.
